Sony Xperia N1 and Xperia N1 Premium

A handful of info regarding Sony’s new products has just appeared on ESATO’s forums. That information pertains to the company’s two new smartphones: Xperia N1 and Xperia N1 Premium. Not a whole lot is known about them; only that the Xperia N1 is to come with a 4k display with 3840×1629 proportions and 3 cameras, while Xperia N1 Premium will have a 4k display, 4096×2160, and 4 cameras. Sony Xperia XZ4 Compact, renders

The renders can be watched here and here. The device that they show is pretty much equal to what we have heard it so far. Fingerprint scanner in the bezel checks out, so does th headphone jack and USB-C, the display looks like the 5′ it was supposed to be, minijack is… not there, also as expected. Leaked images show Sony Xperia XZ3 colour variants

Rumoured to be released during the IFA 2018 (August 30), Xperia XZ3 will not have much to show, as this particular device has been subject to many leaks. Today, an image from MySmartPrice displays colour variants that the smartphone will be available in. Colours available seem to be burgundy, black, silver and dark green. 3D renders of Sony Xperia XZ3

3D renders depicting Xperia XZ3’s back and front have been created by the render-makers CompareRaja and leaked online by OnLeaks. Among the most interesting things about the leaks are the glass back, lack of headphone jack and, surprisingly, lack of dual camera. Wow – Sony promises us a 48mpx camera

The IMX586 sensor is supposed to not only have more megapixels than any smartphone camera in the history, but also make the sharpest pictures on the market. People in the know-how foresee a few issues with these claims, though. They believe that too many megapixels of the sensor will make it so that the small pixels do not catch enough light, which in turn will considerably lower the the quality of the pictures. Xperia XZ2’s display goes to heck and Sony does not give a crap. Or so it seems

More and more of Xperia XZ2 owners report issues with the phone’s display. The nature of the issue, as shown on the picture above, is that white dots and lines appear on the display seemingly at random. They distort the picture and are a nuisance to look at.
