Google buys out parts of HTC, but the company will continue to make phones

Rumours were afloat about Google acquiring whole of HTC, but now it seems to not be the case. According to an official statement, a number of HTC’s employees will now be working with Google on their Pixel smartphones. In return, HTC received $1.1 billion. HTC U11 might receive a Bluetooth 5.0 update

HTC U11, company’s most recent flagship, launched with Bluetooth 4.2 pre-installed. HTC obviously does not want things to stay this way.
