Android 9 Pie may have been out for a month now, but you know how Android OS updates are – no two smartphones come with the same system. Anyhoo, Moto G5S Plus is at least getting updated to 8.1 Oreo. The update was supposed to take place two months ago, but has been postponed due to technical difficulties. Brazil is the first country to receive it, with others coming next in an unknown order. Exact number of changes is unknown, but will definitely include August security update. ...

Motoroli Moto G7 pictures leaked out

More smartphones, faster, now! The dust has not settled yet after the Moto G6 smartphone release and Motorola is already working on its successor. Pictures of Moto G7 (for some reason called Moto G6 Plus on the picture) have just leaked on Weibo. They present to us the back and the front of the device, showing off features such as a red colour variant, dual main camera and tear-shaped notch (please, someone, explain to me why do we even need this). Fingerprint scanner is also rumoured to adorn the back panel of the device.Leak does not say anything new about Moto G7’s specs, but we ...

Unlocked Motorola Moto G6 available with free case and screen protector

Unlocked version of Moto G6 can now be bought for $249.99 – a relatively low price for such a decent device. B&H retailer further sweetens the deal, though, by adding two presents to every unit sold. These gifts are two items by Avoda: Clear Case Protector (that normally costs $19.99) and Tempered Glass Screen Protector (same price). Getting nearly fourty bucks worth of gifts when buying a phone? Sounds like a good deal to me.Moto G6′ specs include a 5.7′ display, 3GB RAM, Android Oreo (soon to be updated to Pie), fingerprint scanner and a dual rear camera. It can be ...

Motorola One certified in China

Device, going by the model number XT1941-2, seems to be exacly like the Motorola One we have heard about in the past: rear made of premium glass, notched display, polished frame, dedicated power button, dual-tone LED flash with Motorola logo that may or may not double as a fingerprint scanner. Not a lot is known about this phone’s specs other than that the phone will boast a 5.86′ display, 3000mAh battery and, according to a different benchmark, Snapdragon 625 with 4GB RAM. Price tag of the device will probably be something between three and four hundred dollars. ...

This list covers most of Motorola’s this-and-last year’s devices, although the lack of E5 Play, E5 Plus and the entire G5 lineup did not go unnoticed. The update is supposed to take place, quote, this fall. ...

That is all, folks, or Moto Mods are done

It seems that we will not be getting any new Moto smartphones until the end of 2018. That is sad (or would be if I cared in the least). What is even more sad is the fact that after this year Motorola will not support Moto Mods any longer. The company has promised us to develop new mods for three years, it kept its word and now the deal is done. Shame, for some of these modules were really interesting. Power packs were the most financially successful ones, but lets not forget about that 10x zoom camera mod, or the 70′ projector screen one. Along with the modules will go the Z series, ...
