Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 5 receive firmware update

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 5 receive firmware update

Both devices are old enough that the support for them ended a few years ago. Still, Samsung is kind enough to have extended their lives a bit longer via this latest update. According to SamMobile, latest firmware for both models has been released yesterday, with initial rollout taking place in South Korea and then spreading to Europe and South America. Changelog includes new stabilization code; it can be assumed that Samsung discovered a serious vulnerability in the two phones’ coding and released this update to fix it.
