Oh noes? New Samsung flagships are strong enough to be able to use Google Daydream VR, but they seemingly lack the neccessary software. If you want to use your Google Daydream with a Galaxy S8 or S8+, all you have to do is change one line of code. Courtesy of VRheads, you can read about how to do it right here. Tweet Vote on ...

More info on HTC U/Ocean leaked
Android Headlines have obtained a leaked info on the upcoming HTC Oean (also known as HTC U, so take your pick). Thanks to those quote on quote leaked preview materials we now know quite a lot about this upcoming device:HTC U’s biggest new feature is to be the so called Edge Sense. Putting it simply, Edge Sense is a number of sensors installed under the edges of the device. These sensors, when activated, allow the user to control his/her phone by squeezing its sides. For example, if you are a lazy bum and cannot be arsed to press the touchscreen a few times to, say, start a camera, ...
Looks like Apple is working on its very own graphic chip
Long story short, Apple has cut ties with Imagination Technologies, a British chip designer that worked on the PowerVR graphics processors. Imagination Technologies’ has stated that it is so, because Apple is „working on a separate, independent graphics design in order to control its products and will be reducing its future reliance on Imagination’s technology”. Too bad for the Brits, since their work for Apple generated half of their income. For us, though, it is interesting news, as it might mean that Apple will be cooking up its very own CPU and GPU – or ...

Galaxy 8’s facial recognition lock not as hard to break as it seems?
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a number of protective measures. The phone can be unlocked via a password, sequence, fingerprint scanner or facial recognition. It isn’t news that the phone’s fingerprint scanner does not work all that great – if previous leaks are to believed, it is why the phone has a facial recognition in the first place. Now, a YouTube user nicknamed MarcianoPhone is proving (though perhaps not beyond any doubt) that S8’s facial recognition is flawed as well.MarcianoPhone has uploaded a video in which he unlocks the phone using its facial recognition ...

Samsung Galaxy S8 „Microsoft Edition”. Yeah, much Windows, so Microsoft
Waaah, Samsung with Windows OS, what to do, what to do, waaaah, panic… no, nothing like that. It is just that Windows has seemingly decided that, if its phones do not sell very well, it will try to cash in on Galaxy S8’s success. This cooperation seems to be half-hearted at best, though, as its only result is Microsoft Edition, which is a completely normal Galaxy S8 with few Windows features: Cortana assistant (as if Samsung didn’t already have Bixby), OneDrive and Office. Most of those things you can already get on Play store ...
