… only exist in the designer’s heads, at least for now. This is how all inventions start, though, so do not worry, we will get to drive around like the Jetsons did yet. Transport service dreamed about by Airbus is called Pop Up and is, basically, a four-wheeled, two-person capsule. First, the capsule appears at the transportee’s location and drives her/him/them to the nearest landing pad. There, a drone picks the capsule up and takes over to bring the users to their destination. Airbus revealed that it plans first test runs (flies) of the service in 2017, but it will ...
Will Samsung Galaxy S8 have a facial recognition feature?
From what we heard it seems like Galaxy S8’s iris scanner will not turn as great as it could, with Samsung saying that it works ”too slow”. The company has decided, perhaps to combat the low performance of iris scanner, to also implement a facial recognition system into their upcoming flagship. Or maybe it is Samsung’s reaction to iPhone 8 allegedly coming out with the facial recognition. Whatever the reason, it is unknown whether the face scanner will take iris’ place or work alongside it. ...
Nonstop Chuck Norris. Mobile game about slamming a revolving door
When Chuck Norris does a push-up, he actually pushes the Earth down – this and many other facts about the world’s greatest action hero must have been on the mind of Flaregames, makers of Nonstop Chuck Norris. It is an action game in which the player takes the role of Chuck Norris’s sidekick, and together with the hero fight off bazillion bad guys. The game is free to play, with possible in-game transactions (well, duh), and is available on both Android and iOS.I have no idea whether the game is good or bad, but I know that its trailer is hilarious, as is always the case ...
Cobalt – security man (bot) of the future
”You don’t need security, just install a camera”. This line of thought seems to not only prevail, but even thrive. Cameras are fine, but security business goes a step further and wants to create an inteligent robot-guardsman. Cobalt Robotics works on a device called Cobalt (duh), an autonomous robot equipped with a variety of tools that allow him to identify people, items, ID cards, audio tracks, CO2 and smoke. Upon identifying a threat, Cobalt will send an alert and… and that is it, because I don’t see it coming with an electric baton to fend off a thief or ...
”1942” – classic scrolling shooter now available on mobiles
Capcom has plans to bring four of its old (okay, not old – pretty goddamn ancient) video games to mobile devices. The first one to roll in is 1942, an arcade shooter where the player takes the role of a bomber pilot fighting in the 8-bit World War II. The game is mostly a straightforward port, with the only enhancements being two game modes instead of one (casual for an easy experience and classic for the good old fashioned difficulty level), achievements and leaderboards.Sim-unlock.net is a system that offers unlocking sim locks of any phone model. Citizen, a crime-alert phone application
Citizen is a renewed version of the old iOS-exclusive app Vigilante, now available for both Apple and Android operating system. Application’s feature is to provide a real-time alert of any crimes that appear in your living area. If available online, app adds a video footage to the alert, so that you can know what you’re runn… going away from when you’re going away from it. Sounds great, right? There is one catch – Citizen only works, for now at least, in New York. Making the app globally effective will be a difficult task, but I for one hope that it will happen ...
