Citizen is a renewed version of the old iOS-exclusive app Vigilante, now available for both Apple and Android operating system. Application’s feature is to provide a real-time alert of any crimes that appear in your living area. If available online, app adds a video footage to the alert, so that you can know what you’re runn… going away from when you’re going away from it. Sounds great, right? There is one catch – Citizen only works, for now at least, in New York. Making the app globally effective will be a difficult task, but I for one hope that it will happen – today’s world is not a very safe one, and a fast warning that Citizen provides will certainly help many people.
