Thanks to OnLeaks we can now get a better look at two of Samsung’s upcoming smartphones. Just having a picture to look at would be boring and not very informative, so how about a 3D video? Anyway, here is what the renders show:– both devices are made of glass and metal,– Infinity Displays with 18:9 aspect ratio & 2160 by 1080p resolution, rumoured to be 5.5′ for A5 and 6′ for A7,– UCB-C and heaphone jack placed at the bottom of the device,– single rear camera with fingerprint scanner under it,– dual front cameras,– no Bixby button, ...

New executive appointed to the development of Bixby 2.0

Bixby is not doing so well and Samsung is trying to save it up appointing a new development executive. The position of the head of Service Intelligence Group, the party maintaining and developing Bixby, is now taken by Samsung Research America’s Vice Chief Chung Eui-suk. The project that Eui-suk is working now, namely Bixby 2.0, will probably be announced at Samsung’s yearly Developer Conference on October 18. While Samsung promises ”much improvement, honest”, we do not really know anything about the 2.0. Hopefully Mr. Eui-suk can turn things around for Bixby and ...

First render of Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) leaked; like a smaller Galaxy S8

Infinity (more or less bezel-less) Displays become more popular with time, and Samsung is not letting that new trend die down. Galaxy S8 was first of Big S’s phones to feature ID; now the same feature is being implemented into the company’s A series with Galaxy A5 (2018). Renders depicting that phone have recently surfaced online. What do they show us?– Bixby virtual assistant button,– fingerprint scanner fitted below the camera,– front panel smaller than Galaxy S8’s, lacks S8’s curved display.People wiser than me believe that Galaxy A7 (2018), when ...

Missing text issue annoys a number of US Galaxy S8/S8 Plus users

According to complaints made by a significant number of US owners of Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus, those phones have a nasty habit of delaying and/or not receiving portions of text messages sent to them. You could send a message to a Galaxy S8 owner, and he/she would receive it much later and not complete. Issue touches Galaxy S8 smartphones across all carriers, from T-Mobile to Verizon to Sprint and more. Android Messages and Textra are also not safe from the problem – sounds like this is phone’s software issue.Samsung already knowns about the problem and is presumably working on ...

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8 Enterprise Edition is released in Germany

So… why does this exist? Enterprise Edition is a variant of Galaxy Note 8 and S8 smartphones made for businessmen. They do not offer any new, different features or upgrades; the only thing different about them are an extended, three years long warranty, monthly security maintenance updates guaranteed for three years and a, you guessed it, three years long license for Knox Configure. Okay? Cool?If for some reason you want an EE yourself, you need to contact Tech Data Mobile. Tweet Vote ...
