Bixby is not doing so well and Samsung is trying to save it up appointing a new development executive. The position of the head of Service Intelligence Group, the party maintaining and developing Bixby, is now taken by Samsung Research America’s Vice Chief Chung Eui-suk. The project that Eui-suk is working now, namely Bixby 2.0, will probably be announced at Samsung’s yearly Developer Conference on October 18. While Samsung promises ”much improvement, honest”, we do not really know anything about the 2.0. Hopefully Mr. Eui-suk can turn things around for Bixby and make it actually, you know, likeable.
