Nokia today announced that the latest version of its home-grown smartphone platform, called Belle, is available to download. The new system software brings a refreshed look to the user interface as well as a number of under-the-hood improvements to the operating system. Verizon Wireless is dishing out a software update to the HTC Rezound smartphone that improves performance in a number of key areas. Most notable are reported improvements to the phone’s signal strength and in-call audio quality, but there are other bug fixes and tweaks included as well. AT&T has finally released the long-awaited Android 2.3 Gingerbread software upgrade for the Samsung Infuse 4G that was released last spring.
