Verizon Wireless is dishing out a software update to the HTC Rezound smartphone that improves performance in a number of key areas. Most notable are reported improvements to the phone’s signal strength and in-call audio quality, but there are other bug fixes and tweaks included as well. And no, this is not the upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that has been promised to be coming. Users should get a notification on their handsets when the update is ready to be downloaded and installed, and Verizon says that it may take a few days for the update to reach everybody.
