And it is not some kind of a hacker attack. Nope. It turns out that the right combination of emotes and characters can freeze the receiver’s iPhone. The recipient does not even have to open the message, as simply receiving it will crash the device. Fortunately, the freeze is not permanent – your phone will eventually either unfreeze or restart on its own.If you want to learn how to make that doom message yourself and how to defend about it, check out this video.Sim-unlock.net is a system that offers unlocking sim locks of any phone model. US telecom provider Verizon will block outgoing calls on Galaxy Note 7 phones
Verizon has been hitting the US Note 7 phones hard. Recently the provider has released an update which made it impossible to charge the phone. Despite this (how?), ”thousands” of dangerous Note 7’s are reportedly still at large. Next update will be even more severe, as it will block any outgoing calls from the US Note 7 phones – the only numbers that will still be available will be 911 and Verizon’s customer service. It is still possible for you US users to return your phones with no upgrade fee and a $100 bill credit, but not for much longer.Sim-unlock.net is ...
Possible dimensions of Samsung Galaxy S8 leaked
140.14 x 72.20 x 7.30mm – these are the (allegedly) exact dimensions of the upcoming Galaxy S8 superstar phone, making it a bit wider and thinner, but also shorter, than Galaxy S7. The difference in width is probably caused by the phone’s increased screen size, 5.7′ instead of 5.1′. According to the rumour, Samsung has severely diminished the size of the phone’s bezel, as well as top and bottom. There is a reason as to why these renders may not be real – they show no sign of an USB Type-C port, which were present in earlier leaks and rumours. Make of it ...
Samsung Vice-Chairman Jay Y. Lee threatened with prison
Sex, corruption and Korean smartphones. Okay, there is no sex involved, that was cheap – made you look, though, huh? Anyway, back to the point. Long story short, Koreans has been investigating Samsung for some time now, suspecting the company of wiring $36 million to two foundations led by one Choi Soon-sil, a friend of Jay Y Lee, the de facto chairman of Samsung (his father, the actual chairman, has been struck with a heart attack in 2014 and have not made full recovery since then). The money was, reportedly, supposed to be used to secure shady deals with the Korean government. ...
LG’s new patent suggests a foldable phone coming in the far future
We have already heard rumours of the distant Samsung Galaxy X being a foldable. More than one company has its sights on that, as of now, faraway tech, though, as LG has just published its patent for a foldable phone. According to the picture that came with the patent, the LG foldable will be able to fold in half while, interestingly, leaving the screen on the ouside of the clam and still active.By the way, the patent was filed eighteen months ago, so who knows? Maybe LG is already well on its way in producing a foldable. That would be pretty neat.Sim-unlock.net is a system that offers ...
A solution to exploding smartphone batteries has been discovered (still tested)
The name of the solution is triphenyl phosphate. Placed between the cathode and anode placed in the phone’s battery, the chemical compound is to react to the rising temperature of the device and put the fire out miliseconds after it starts. This solution is reportedly not going to affect the battery’s longevity (it will probably affect the battery’s health, but it beats the alternative of a fire). It is unknown when exacly will triphenyl phosphate enter smartphone’s mass production.Sim-unlock.net is a system that offers unlocking sim locks of any phone model. We ...
We have learned the probable date of presentation, release and price of Samsung Galaxy S8
According to one @Ricciolo1, a source of a considerable number of legitimate leaks, the phone is already finished and will be shown, but only to a handful of chosen people, during the February MWC 2017. Its official reveal is to take place on March 29; it is scheduled for release by the end of April. Galaxy S8’s price is to cost around $849. Long story short, we have to wait a few months more, but it will be (probably) worth it.Sim-unlock.net is a system that offers unlocking sim locks of any phone model.
