Three Samsung devices have just passed US’ Federal Communications Commission; SM-530YM/DS, SM-J530GM and SM-J530GM/DS. All three of them are believed to be variants of the 2017’s Samsung Galaxy J5. Last year’s J5 (2016) was released on April, so it is not impossible for the J5 (2017) to see the light of the day sometime in May. In other words, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) can be released at any moment now.>Known specification:– 2GB RAM, 16GB storage memory, microSD card slot,– either Exynos 7870 or Samsung chipset,– 13mpx rear and 5mpx front cameras,– ...

HTC U 11 is getting a reveal in two weeks time, but its fans do not want to wait this long for information on their future smartphone. If you are one of them, then you’re in luck, as the device’s specification has just leaked! No one can promise you that it is the real, accurate deal, but I bet this won’t stop you from checking it out.As for specification itself, well, the 3.5mm headphone jack is not mentioned, so that’s another smartphone without one. Edge Sense is U 11’s main feature, the touch-sensitive side frames that can act as phone’s controller. ...
Random restarts, or Yet another problem with Samsung Galaxy S8
Yep, you read this right – Galaxy S8 has ANOTHER issue. For a smartphone that was supposed to be all grand and glorious to make people forget about the Note 7 fiasco, I’m strangely often writing about this device’s problems. Back to the point; for around a week now, some of the Galaxy S8 users have complained about their phones restarting out of blue. There is no obvious reason for it, according to the reports – their phones are working, working, working and then suddenly they are turning off and on again as if making a self soft reset. People smarter than me suggest ...

Samsung releases patch to fix the Galaxy S8 red screen issue
My last post on this subject has proven to be quite popular. Perhaps this one will catch your eye as well. It looks like Samsung realized that, yes, the red scree issue of Galaxy S8 smartphones is real and have decided to do something about it. Reportedly, a patch that fixes the issue has been released, though, judging by what I read on the Internet, nobody has received it yet. If any one of you have a Galaxy S8, please, let me know as soon as you get the update, okay? I would like to know if and how does the patch fix the issue. There are rumours on the Internet that the red screen problem ...
Overwatch character D.Va temporarily removed from the game
Not much of a smartphone news, I know, but I am sure some of you will find you interesting nevertheless. Overwatch, Blizzard’s ultimate success of a multiplayer shooter game, has seen three new characters introduced to the game. Now, Blizzard is taking one of the most popular of the game’s characters, D.Va, out of the game, at least for some time. The company has not revealed much info on the issue, only stating that, after the most recent patch, presence of that particular character has caused a large number of game crashes.Do not worry, D.Va players. Things like this are not ...
Messenger Lite is now available in 137 countries
Facebook and its chat app Messenger are notorious for taking up much of the smartphone’s resources, hence why their mobile (Lite) versions have been developed some time ago. In the beginning, Messenger Lite was available only in five countries: Tunisia, Malaysia, Venezuela, Sri Lanka, Kenya. As you might have noticed, these are all developing countries, where most people cannot afford a high-end smartphone that would have no problem handling Facebook and Messenger – hence why the Lite version of them was released there. Now, though, the list of Lite-approved countries has grown ...
HTC released U 11 trailer. Squeeze For The Brilliant U
If you have not been hyped enough about the HTC’s squeezable smartphone, now is the time to make up for lost excitement. HTC has released a teaser for its phone, and, what can I say, it just squeezes the enthusiasm out of you. Mediocre puns aside, the teaser does highlight phone’s number one feature – touch-sensitive edges that can be set by the user to react to her/his gestures with various actions, e.g. squeeze and a slight turn left can open contact’s list, while a squeeze and a shake can decrease volume. Not a lot else is known about the device. We think it will ...
