Dual cameras are nothing new in smartphones, and the three cameras setup is slowly creeping into the mainstream a la Huawei P20 Pro. Three cameras are nothing, though; what will you say about nine of them? Well, Light company has clearly said ”fine, lets do it”. The nine cameras smartphone project is currently under development by Light and funded by Foxconn. According to The Washington Post, Light has already created a working prototype. It is reportedly able to create 64mpx pictures, work extremely well in low light environment and create a wonderful depth of field. Light also ...

What the eff is going on, or how Samsung phones sent pictures to your contacts on their own
A new, fresh Samsung issue is on the horizon, and it is an amusing one. It seems that Samsung phones are now capable of sending random pictures from our galleries to randomly chosen people on our contact lists. Thankfully, the issue does not pertain to ALL Samsung smartphones, but ”only” to the Galaxy series, mostly the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note 8.Nothing is known for certain at the moment, but a popular culprit to be blamed is USA’s T-Mobile division. American provider is in the process of changing its message standard from SMS to RTC, which has been said to ...

Benchmark of phone that may be iPhone x popped out on Geekbench
Benchmark of a device called iPhone11,1 has just been released on Geekbench. Two facts serve as a semi-proof for this device being iPhone X: first one is the fact that the iPhone X is coming out soon; second one is that quite some of the new devices’ specs coincide with what we heard about iPhone X.New benchmark covers a considerate portion of device’ specification. Among the more interesting parts of it are the Apple A12 CPU, 4GB RAM and the iOS12 operating system. Phones’ cores test looks pretty interesting: it scored 4673 in single core and 10912 in multiple cores ...
HTC’s tough times continue as the company lays off 1500 employees
Poor souls in question are… have all been working in HTC’s manufacturing division in Taiwan. Laying them off lowers HTC’s employee count by roughly 22%. Official word from the company is that the layoff has been done in order to once more become profitable. This is only the last in a long chain of HTC’s misfortunes. It all begun in February, when then-president of the company left to pursue a ”personal career plan”. Soon afterwards a hundred US employees of the company have been released as part of a merger of the smartphone and VR divisions. Speaking of ...
In lighter news, Australia now has a giant penis that can be seen from space
When happens when your news writer has too much time to spare? He writes about giant members, naturally. The mischevious manhood in question is carved into a dry lake bed outside of Geelong, Victoria, and is big enough for Google Maps to see it from space. Image first surfaced on the Facebook group Take The Piss Geelong, though the local community has reportedly already known about the carving for a few months. The carving may be remembered as the largest picture of a male organ to date. No group or single person has yet claimed responsibility for what has been dubbed an Aussie ...
New Motorola device pictures leak. Dual camera and more
The yet to be named device seems to be utilizing a glass build and vertical camera placement of Motorola One and One Power. Lack of Android One branding on the back suggests that it will not be shipped with the stock Android OS; instead it might launch as a part of the Motorola Moto series. This new device also seems to lack a notch, and seemingly returns to the 18:9 display.Unfortunately, the leak offers no information other than what does the phone look like. Tweet Vote on ...

Three new Motorola smartphones – Moto G6 and two variants of Moto Z3 Play – are now out in the US. As for Moto G6, unlocked one is available only from Amazon, so it too gets the Prime Exclusive treatment, for $235. ...
