Google is constructing a list of banned words for its Chinese release
I wanted to start this news with my typical O tempora o mores, but… seeing as things are going worldwide, perhaps this news is not as horrible as it would be some time ago. Much has been said about the Google-China conflict; communist country wanted the american company to deliver them a properly censored browser, while Google did not. Past tense is right in place, too; as it seems, Google has given in to temptation and is now creating a censored wersion of its browser specifically for China. Censorship will ban citizens of China from reading about anything that their government does ...

Samsung Galaxy S9 available for $485 on eBay
Galaxy S9 was not a bestseller, but it is still a very solid Samsung smartphone. While it did not offer anything particulary interesting on its release, now is the right time to reconsider buying it – phone that usually costs around $700 is now available on eBay for mere $485. In order to buy them so cheaply you have to search for a seller nick-named never-msrp and apply the code PRONTO15 at checkout. Same promo code will also allow you to buy Galaxy S9+ for just $590 (its usual price being around $850). ...
UE once again wants to standardise chargers
European Union plans on reducing the number of electronic waste produced – better late than never, since the business is estimated to produce 51 tons of electronic trash per year. One of the steps that the Union wants to take in order to reach this goal is standardising smartphone’s chargers. UE wants all the smartphones to use the USB-C standard. There is a long way for this to happen, though; many lesser models are still using the microUSB plug-in, while Apple is adamant about keeping to its Lightning plug-in. EU wants to combat this by a mix of new laws and, if needed, ...

Do you remember floppy disks at all? LGR does. In the latest episode of his show, mister Clint Basinger shows us how to make a floppy disk video game work on a modern Android smartphone.
