iPhones may have only held the bronze medal for the most popular smartphones globally, with Samsung and Huawei beating it to the pedestal, but Apple’s brand is still strong in its motherland. According to the Kantar Worldpanel data, iPhone 8 achieved the 9.4 percent share of smartphone sold in 3rd quarter of this year, while Samsung Galaxy S9 ruled in the EU. Apple also recorded increased iPhone 8 sales in Germany, Australia and China. Tweet Vote on HN ...

Elon Musk’s Starman has just entered Mars’ orbit
Remember how Elon Musk sent Tesla car with a human dummy behind the wheel? Internet remembers. Today SpaceX took to social platforms to inform us that the rather atypical space vessel has just entered the orbit of the Red Planet. It’s trajectory, which can be seen on the graphic above, will eventually take it near the planet. Tesla’s journey so far took it nine months ever since its launch on February. We can only wonder when and where will it end… Tweet Vote on ...

Alongside it there is a LED flash, as well as a black sensor, the purpose of which is yet to be known. As for the camera, the standard, telephoto and super wide angle cameras setup is expected. Front camera will most probably be a single setup. No headphone jack can be seen on the render, ...

Samsung is teasing its long-coming bendable device
Samsung has just released a neat little teaser for what is expected to be an official announcement of its bendable mobile device. Teaser exists in the form of a new logotype on its Facebook group page. I am the first one to admit that, on the first glance, this is not the most reliable news in the world, but think about it: such teasers are pretty much always being released very soon before the big news come out. Therefore, we can expect Samsung to come out with its new bendable any day now. Naturally we do not know anything about this device. People more in the know than me believe that it ...
