iPhones may have only held the bronze medal for the most popular smartphones globally, with Samsung and Huawei beating it to the pedestal, but Apple’s brand is still strong in its motherland. According to the Kantar Worldpanel data, iPhone 8 achieved the 9.4 percent share of smartphone sold in 3rd quarter of this year, while Samsung Galaxy S9 ruled in the EU. Apple also recorded increased iPhone 8 sales in Germany, Australia and China.
