Destiny 2: Forsaken, another expansion pack

Destiny 2: Forsaken, another expansion pack

Destiny 2 is a bad game. Yeah, I know it has a load of fans. It is not my fault that kids have a bad taste and some adults want to spend their free time playing brainless video games. Destiny 2 is now in the same situation that the first game was – basic game has proven shallow and unentertaining, so it has to be saved by releasing a whole bunch of expensive and good-to-bad expansions. Forsaken seems to be on the good side, but we will see… promised features of the game include:

– new campaign in a location known from the first game, The Reef,
– improved mods system (not explained further),
– new subclass skills,
– changes in the inventory, random item stats among them,
– new PvP mode,
– new mode called Gambit that is supposed to contain both PvE and PvP elements,
– new endgame location, The Dreaming City.

All of that for $39.99. For that much I could buy myself a full-fledged, well-made game that was not made with milking fans in mind. Do you agree or do you think that D2 is the best thing since sliced bread? Gameplay is available here.
