Nude, app that tries to hide nude pics on your phone and fails to

Who was it made by? Japanese, naturally. What does it do? Long story short, it uses a special algorythm to find any nude photographs you may have saved on your phone and then quickly delete them from both your device’s memory and iCloud. Better safe than sorry! Reportedly, the app is not working very well. Article on Gizmodo described how the author installed the app and set it on a wild goose chase. His phone had no nudes, but the app decided to delete a large number of his pictures anyway. Among the pictures deleted could be found:– woman in a dress sitting on a chair,– ...

O tempora o mores, or how Americans can now order food via Facebook

We never asked for it, we never wanted it and now we have it. Or at least I never asked for it. If you have, feel bad about yourself. Citizens of the US can now order food on Facebook using desktops, Android and iOS phones. How does this work? Pretty simple. You enter Facebook, go to search bar and type in ”Order Food”. You will then be presented with a number of nearby restaurants that can be ordered online from. You can then proceed to order food without leaving FB application. You can filter your food search by price or distance. In order to make this (order… ha!) ...

Hopefully it is. If you are interested, it should by now be downloadable from ...

Twitter might double its character limit

Tweeter will soon begin a, quote, ”small public test” to see what happens when some of its users are allowed to post tweets 280 letters long. Twitter has a few official explanations for this, but they all boil down to, basically, ”many people want to type in more”. It may also be Twitter’s attempt to draw in more users; Twitter is very popular (328 million users per month), but still has a way to go if it wants to beat Instagram (800 million) or, hah, Facebook (two billion, good luck with that). What do you think? Will longer tweets serve Twitter well or will ...

China blocks WhatsApp

Chinese government has a long and not very warm relationship with WhatsApp. The application has been hindered multiple times in the land of dragons and gunpowder: its voice chat, as well as video chat, was blocked, you could not send pictures et cetera. Now the Chinese have made a logical step forward and pretty much blocked the application from usage. They did it by blocking the possibility of sending text messages by the app, basically rendering it useless. You still can made video and audio calls with it, but you can just use your phone to do that, so meh. The way the Chinese government ...
