Just in case you were still wondering; refurbished Galaxy Note 7 has just received its FCC certification. Three varians of the phone have been certified; SM-N935S, SM-N935L and SM-N935K, which probably means that three South Korean carriers, SK Telecom, LG U+ and KT Corporation will be selling it. While Samsung revealed that the device will eventually be available in other countries as well, United States will not be one of them – perhaps they’re tired of all the lawsuits, eh? Nudge, nudge. The only difference between the old and new Note 7 will be smaller and hopefully ...

Corners of Samsung Galaxy S8 are said to be quite fragile
As proven by German scientists, corners of the Samsung Galaxy S8 are too easy to break. Scientists from test.de have built a special drum, which motion allows it to test smartphones’ durability when falling. Most smartphones can take up to a hundred falls without taking more than superficial damage, but Galaxy S8’s Gorilla Glass 5 display has started to crumble after barely fifty. The weak link in the phone’s construction seems to be its corners.Test.de suggests that Samsung Galaxy S8 owners invest in a phone case. They probably have the right idea – 900 bucks does ...

Random restarts, or Yet another problem with Samsung Galaxy S8
Yep, you read this right – Galaxy S8 has ANOTHER issue. For a smartphone that was supposed to be all grand and glorious to make people forget about the Note 7 fiasco, I’m strangely often writing about this device’s problems. Back to the point; for around a week now, some of the Galaxy S8 users have complained about their phones restarting out of blue. There is no obvious reason for it, according to the reports – their phones are working, working, working and then suddenly they are turning off and on again as if making a self soft reset. People smarter than me suggest ...

Samsung releases patch to fix the Galaxy S8 red screen issue
My last post on this subject has proven to be quite popular. Perhaps this one will catch your eye as well. It looks like Samsung realized that, yes, the red scree issue of Galaxy S8 smartphones is real and have decided to do something about it. Reportedly, a patch that fixes the issue has been released, though, judging by what I read on the Internet, nobody has received it yet. If any one of you have a Galaxy S8, please, let me know as soon as you get the update, okay? I would like to know if and how does the patch fix the issue. There are rumours on the Internet that the red screen problem ...

At least in South Korea. The 300,000 handsets available are to be rebranded into Note 7 R and are rumoured to be cheaper than the original N7 by roughly $270. It is still unknown whether or not will the refurbished Note 7 (R or no R) be sold outside South Korea.Would you be interested in getting one or, as they say, once burned twice shy? Looks like Galaxy S8 Plus’s wireless charging have some issues
First owners of the Galaxy S8+ have their share of First World problems, and this is one of them. Reportedly, when placed on an official Samsung Wireless Charging Pad, the phone either recharges extremely slowly or does not recharge at all. Some of the users claim that they can wirelessly charge the Galaxy S8+ with a non-Samsung charger, while no kind of charger works for others.Samsung has not taken a stance on the issue yet. The company occasionally chooses to ignore problems with its devices, at least for some time, as was the case with Galaxy S8’s red screen issue, but is also ...
