Apple is failing at simple things once again, or how you will not type ”I ” on iOS 11

To be precise, the issue touches devices with iOS 11.1 installed. What is the problem? Oh, nothing much, you just will not be able to type large i on these devices. No biggy.Wait.Whenever someone tries to type ”I” on a device with iOS 11.1, system automatically turns this letter into an ”A” with a [?] symbol. This is supposedly happening in all the apps that use display keyboard – Twitter, Messenger, Skype, Instagram etc. For some reason not all iOS 11.1 users are affected. If you are one of the unlucky ones, the only thing you can do is go to keyboard settings ...

iPhone X considered to be the most fragile (popular) smartphone ever made

Do you know that feeling when you empty your wallet for a new smartphone, buy it, cherish it, show it off to all your friends and then let it drop on the pavement, seeing your thousand bucks investment go down the drainage? I do not, and I hope you do not as well, hence why I strongly suggest buying a protective case for your shiny new iPhone X. SquareTrade, an extended warranty service provider, has dubbed Apple’s new flagship the most breakable smartphone in history. It was awarded a score of 90 out of 100 on a ”breakability” score, easily beating Samsung Galaxy S8 that ...

Impossible! iPhone X has an issue that only surfaced a few days after premiere!

iPhone X may be the world’s most expensive smartphone, but that does not mean it has to be free of game-breaking technical issues, right? Right. Apple itself released a support article in which it warns that:”If you look at an OLED display off-angle, you might notice slight shifts in color and hue. This is a characteristic of OLED and is normal behavior. With extended long-term use, OLED displays can also show slight visual changes. This is also expected behavior and can include “image persistence” or ‘burn-in,’ where the display shows a faint remnant of ...

Breaking news! Apple figured out which emoji are we using the most often

No, it actually is not the barf emoji… according to Apple, the ”tears of joy” is the most often used emoji (I remember when they were called emoticons) on iPhones. Red heart takes second place, with crying landing third. According to the survey, tears of joy are particulary popular in the UK and US.On a side note, Unicode, an organization that sets down the global emoji standards, seriously considers getting rid of the poop emoji on the ground of it being in bad taste. No ...

So, what do they think so far? Pretty good things, actually! Here are some of the more commonly liked aspects of iPhone X:– lack of Home button. To turn iPhone X on and off, one now has to press the bottom of the screen and drag it to the top. This new method is said to be intuitive and convenient,– size of the screen. 5.8′, surrounded by really thin bezels, makes this phone really slim ...

iPhone X, specification

I wrote much and often about the iPhone X, Apple’s latest smartphone. We talked about how it leaks online, how popular it is and whether or not does it deserve this popularity. Despite my lukewarm opinion on the device, iPhone X is already available via a pre-order and should hit store shelves on Friday 3rd. Oh well, iPhone X is here. I guess that, since the device is here and will not go away, I might just a well share its complete specification with you guys, so that we know what to complain about (or praize).Specification:– 5.8′ screen, Super Retina, 1125 x 2436p ...

Apple employee responsible for last week’s leak lost his job

Do you remember last week’s piece of news about the girl that got iPhone X on her video blog? We immediately suspected that Mr. Peterson, daughter of the girl whom she visited at his working place in Apple, may have to pay for this with his job. I am sad to report that indeed, he has. The video in question has been quickly removed from YouTube, but it did not help Mr. Peterson keep his job. What is his daughter’s response? Another video. Because of course it is.Miss Amelia, perhaps you should refrain from posting online from here ...
