South Korean government reportedly considers banning the sales of iPhone 8 and X in the country. The reason for such drastic measure is a patent infringement claim by a company called KAIST; KAIST has reportedly patented a processor technology that Apple then proceeded to illegally use in its A-series processors. iOS 11.4.1 makes it so that we can type ”Taiwan” again
Before 11.4.1, typing the word ”Taiwan” again into any application would often cause the phone to freeze. Such situation was the result of bad relationship between China and Taiwan mixed with crappy programming. Long story short, China does not officially recognize Taiwan as a country.
