BlackBerry KeyOne coming to the US on May 31st, Canada sometime around that

According to BlackBerry’s press release, both CMDA and GSM unlocked variants of the phone will be on on sale in the US on the end of May. Other carriers are rumoured to offer the phone later in the summer. As for Canadian release, we do not have its date, but we do know that Canadians will be able to pre-order the smartphone starting May 18th. Sorry, folks. According to the info on Clove’s, UK’s BlackBerry retailer, website, shipment of Keyone’s to the island of fog and rain will begin on May 22. It is a considerable delay, as BB was originally planning to release their phone on May 5. The reason for it is unknown. UK retailer Clove listed BB Keynote on its website. Listing states, quote, ”first stock expected 5th May”. Price tag on the phone is £499. It is still unknown when exacly will the device be released in the U.S, although it has already received an FCC certificate. A recently announced update for all the Android-using BlackBerry phones will be available any day now. The update’s main feature is a large overhaul of the Productivity Tab’s interface, aiming at making it more user-friendly.
