It is not a 100% confirmed bit of news but is, unfortunately, a probable outcome. You see, without going into boring details, EDGE coverage on GSM is somewhat problematic in the United States. HMD Global, producer of the Nokia 3310 (2017) promised to work with the US’ carriers to solve the issue, but so far has gotten nowhere.Oh well. At least there is no doubt that the new Nokia 3310, riding them nostalgia waves, will be available in the US, even of only on T-Mobile networks. Federal Communications Commission, FCC, has just approved a Nokia mobile phone with the model number TA-1037, ...

Sony patents new wireless charging solution!
Maybe not The revolution, but definitely a step in the right direction. Sony must have reached the same conclusion that many of us have, namely that the ”wireless” charging is a bunch of crap – oh, so you don’t have to plug your mobile to the charger anymore? How cute; you still have to leave it right next to the device for possibly uncomfortably long periods of time. Sony seemingly has a plan on how to deal with that annoyance. A plan it has just patented.Sony is working on creating a home-wide wireless power web that will. Its goal is to be able to recharge any ...
LG G6 Plus launched! Lots of gigabytes and shiny new colours
G6 Plus is an example of LG adopting its rival’s strategies. Usually, LG would release one version of its flagship phone; rival companies, on the other hand, would release the original version and then a number of ” plus minus ultra compact” editions with more or less different looks, sizes and specs. Latter strategy allows for more variety (and, in turn, simply more) of customers, increasing the phone’s sells.Well, LG caught wind of that eventually, and now it is releasing an enhanced version of its newest LG G6 device. What does G6 Plus bring to the table? 6GB of ...
Red HTC U11 available in the US tomorrow!
HTC confirmed that the red colour variation of the recently released U11 is coming to the United States of America. Device will be available through HTC’s online store and (probably) via AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Sprint, possibly also Amazon. Red U11 will cost as much as other colour variants; its specification will also be the same (4GB RAM, 64GB storage, Android 7.1 OS, 5.5-inch QHD display, 3,000mAh battery etc.). The official name of the new colour is unknown, though we can make a game of trying to figure it out.Wonderful Beet, perhaps? ...
Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 nearly here! Launch next month
According to ETNews, a South Korean news website, refurbished Galaxy Note 7’s (also known as Note 7R and, more recently, Note 7FE) will be launching in Korea on July 7th. This is one week later than previously presumed, but for a good reason – Samsung wants to churn out more devices, 450 thousand instead of 300. A good piece of news is that Bixby Home, an edition of the AI assistant, will be pre-installed in those devices. ANOTHER good piece of news is that device is rumoured to be cheaper than expected – 350 pounds instead of previously rumoured 480. ...
Leaked pictures of iPhone 8 panels. Huge screen, neat design
iPhone 8 is cooking up to be a real looker. Phone’s screen will take up great part of the front panel, with speakers and front camera being efficiently minimalized. As for other iPhone 8-related rumours:– it is possible that iPhone 8 will not be called that. Names such as iPhone X and iPhone Edition are rumoured,– possible, but completely unofficial, date of release for 8 is October. Why? October 2017 will mark tenth anniversary of iPhone. Quite an occasion,– IF the phone will be released even later than October, it will probably be so because of problems with ...
Samsung Galaxy A8 Active found on Geekbench, newest OS and CPU confirmed
Galaxy A7 Active was released in mid-June 2017, same as A6 in 2016. It looks like the new A8 Active will not continue this tradition, though, as there is still no word on an official reveal, let alone release, of the phone. At least we do know that the device is being worked on, thanks to it making an appearance on Geekbench earlier today.Geekbench reveals usually are not bountiful with specs leaks, and this time is the same. All we have learned from it is that A8 Active will be running Android 7.0 Nougat and be powered by a Snapdragon 835 CPU; it will also have 4 gigabytes of RAM. Other ...
HTC U11 shipped to the US as we speak
Enough has been said about the phone’s features and specification (U11 is the squeezable one, one with Edge Sense), so I will cut straight to the chase. First batch of HTC U11 phones is being shipped to the US right now, so if you pre-ordered, you will be getting it in a day or two. If you would rather go retail, you… might want to reconsider. U11 seems to be in high demand, as the device is already out of stock, with the next batch shipping in in around three weeks – UNLESS you buy in Sprint or on Amazon, as these stores are said to still have some of the phones in stock. ...

South Park: Phone Destroyer coming out later this year
South Park is game, baby! That was a joke. A double entendre. Since, you know, it is more popular than ever and also because it has been made into a number of games recently (earlier in the days too, but that’s ancient history). Yeah. Anyway, South Park has been made into a successful RPG, with sequel coming up, and now the hilarious TV show is making its way into the mobile gaming industry. Kewl! Phone Destroyer is a strategy card game, meaning that the player has to assemble a card deck which consists of various South Park characters with different in-game skills. With a deck in ...
