I will not be repeating the whole story of Galaxy Note 7, because anyone who cares already knows it by heart – a great phone has been released, then turned out to have a major issue, Samsung recalled it twice, somehow did not lost all credibility and now will be selling the refurbished copies once more. Last week I told you, dear readers, that the refurbished Note 7 will be called R, standing for, well, Refurbished. I am sorry for misleading you – it turns out that the device’s name will be FE, standing for Fan Edition (kinda stupid name if you ask me, but maybe I’m ...

Wonkavator, or an elevator of the future, today
Well, okay, not today, but soon! Have you ever seen ”Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”? Eponymous factory was a massive complex that spanned many kilometers. Factory’s system of fast travel was the Wonkavators, special elevators that could move not only up and down but also in every other direction. That is the kind of device that the German metallurgy concern ThyssenKrupp (cool name) is working on. Their Wonkavators will be able to move up and down, left and right and even diagonally. How, you may ask? Well, ThyssenKrupp’s elevators will not be moved by a cable, an ...
LG Q6, a miniature version of G6, coming out soon
LG must like its G6 phone quite a lot, as the company has decided that there is room in the market for a smaller, more compact version of this particular phone. LG Q6, as it is called, will basically be the LG G6 but smaller (duh) – 5.4′ screen instead of 5.7′ (still with 18:9 aspect ratio), single 13mpx camera instead of a dual one and 3GB RAM instead of 4GB. Device is tailored for those with smaller pockets and/or smaller hands (you know what they say about people with small hands. They can’t hold large smartphones comfortably).Neither phone’s price nor date ...
LG G6 comes out in a new Amber Gold colour variant
Looks more pink than gold to me. Anyway, Amber Gold G6’s could have been spotted on LG’s website for a while, but only now can they be actually bought. Amber Gold is fourth of the LG G6’s colour variants, the first three being black, white and titanium. We are unsure whether or not the new colour variant will be available in the United States, but it will certainly be in Europe.LG G6’s specification, in case you actually want to buy a kinda-golden-pink phone:– 5.7′ display, 1440 x 2880p, Gorilla Glass 3,– Snapdragon 821 CPU, 4-core,– Adreno ...

LG X Charge, budget phone with the largest LG battery ever available in the US now
LG has made another venture into a budget phone line, and an interesting one too. Device’s overall specification is nothing to write home about:– 5.5-inch display, 1280 x 720p,– MediaTek MT6750 chipset, 1.5GHz,– 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD slot,– 13mpx main camera, 5mpx secondary camera,– 4500mAh battery,– Android 7.0 Nougat OS.The aforementioned battery is X Charge’s most interesting bit of hardware. 4500mAh is the largest battery LG has put it any of its phones up to date. Personally I am not sure if such a device – low ...

Jindallae 3, or how North Korea made „its own” iPhone
Well, well, North Korea will become an industrial and electronics power yet! Newest northkorean smartphone’s (not that anyone ever remembers when did the last one come out…) looks like an iPhone knockoff, and is said to be run by a modified Android OS, but the details are sketchy. You might be asking, do North Koreans need such a device? After all, regular NK citizen probably cannot afford such device at all, and even if they could, North Korean internet network Kwangmyong is both poor (only 28 websites!!!!) and difficult to reach and foreign websites are virtually impossible to ...
Two new Nokia feature phones received TENAA certification
Nokia seems to like its feature phones. After the success of new Nokia 3310, the company is cooking up two more old-school devices. Nokia TA-1010 and TA-1034 are believed to be the modernized editions of Nokia 105 and Nokia 130, although modernized may be too big a word – TA-1010 will not have even the simplest of cameras. Damn…There is no list of device’s specifications, but with devices like this specifications can be summed up as ”ancient-like” anyway, so it doesn’t matter. There is also no word on the phones’ date of release, so all we can do is ...
