This time the hooded bastards with keyboards stroke against Coincheck, one of the largest cryptocurrency markets. Hackers broke the market’s security measures and took almost 400 million dollars worth of NEM cryptocurrency. This attack has been called similiar to one from 2014, where hackers robbed a japanese cryptocurrency market for roughly the same amount of money, forcing the market to go bankrupt. Coincheck has said that it will try to return lost money to those injured by the robbery, but with such a large sum of money missing… well, I hope for the ...

While the news is not officially confirmed, the source seems pretty legit. 2nd March is the date rumoured by ETNews, whose ”man on the inside” is supposedly a high-ranking senior Samsung official. ETNews also beleives that the phone will cost even more than the Galaxy S8, with price tag of something between $880 and $920.For more Galaxy S9 news, check out my earlier article on Galaxy S9’s double security measures. LG is working on LG G6 Compact/Lite
Fresh news from Phone Radar; LG plans to return to the G6 series with a new smartphone called either G6 Compact or G6 Lite. This device’s specifications are largely the same as these of its predecessor: metal bezels, glass covering rear and front, 5.7′ FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 2880×1440p resolution etc. The only known difference between the two is memory, with G6 Compact/Lite having either 3 or 4GB RAM as well as 32GB space capacity. Price will be, of course, considerably lower than that of the original; when G6 cost 32990 rupies, G6 Compact/Lite will cost only ...
Worst US carriers poll
United States of ‘Mu… America certainly have a wide variety of phone carriers to chose from! With such a large number of services available, it is no wonder that some of them garner more love from user’s love than others. AndroidPIT has just released a poll in which it asks people their opinions on what is the worst US carrier. You can check out the poll here. Right now it seems that most americans dislike Sprint, with Verizon and AT&T being far second and third. This though may be so only because of how many people use them. Least disliked – again, possibly due ...

Samsung Galaxy S9 might have particulary advanced recognition tools
Galaxy S9’s leaked code has recently went through a teardown; among the things found out during it, perhaps the most interesting was a feature called Intelligent Scan. This feature will supposedly allow Galaxy S9 to use both its iris scanner and facial recognition in the unlocking procedure, thus doubling the phone’s security measures (as well as cutting down on battery life, no doubt). It is unknown whether or not will Galaxy S9 allow to use the above security measures separately, although there are hints suggesting that it will. The iris scanner itself is said to receive an ...
New render video of Motorola’s Moto E5 surfaced
Moto E5 is this year’s Motorola’s budget phone, albeit one of very few budget phones with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Presence of fingerprint scanner is now confirmed in the leaked 3D render of Moto E5. Unfortunately, we do not know pretty much any of the phone’s specs, only that its measurements are 151x74x8.9mm. It will probably come out with a 5′ display with 16:9 aspect ratio and MediaTek CPU.You can watch the render here. Tweet Vote on HN ...
Newest version of Chrome is out, and it has an enhanced ad and pop-up protection
Google has just released Chrome 64, the newest version of Chrome web browser. One of the best functions of the updated browser is its pop-up blockade. The blockade disallows any pop-up ads and websites from opening, instead asking the user whether or not he/she gives these pop-ups a permission to open. Chrome 64 allows the user to safely watch content that could otherwise put him/her in danger of pop-ups, for example por… websites with content of questionable morality; browser will also protect us from the effects of misclicking into an advert. It also has a few other new functions, ...
Next HTC flagship might not make it to MWC 2018
According to a report from Android Headlines, HTC’s upcoming flagship, which may or may not be called HTC U12, will not appear on the MWC 2018 electronics show. Android Headlines’ anonymous inside source instead believes that HTC will launch that phone during its own event in March or April. The reason for the delay is speculated to be HTC wanting to polish its flagship as best as possible before the release. seeing how the company’s revenue is the lowest it has been in thirteen years, this might be a good idea. On the other hand, HTC will lack the press coverage of MWC ...
iPad Pro 2018 and what we know about it
– an unknown analyst from KGI Securities believes that the device will come out either in in June, on WWDC 2018 or in September, during the iPhone X2 hardware event,– a few hints suggest that iPad Pro 2018 will be similiar to iPhone X in that it will not be a revolution but a steady evolution of the device line,– the above means that iPad Pro 2018 might as well have a Face ID, and the Touch ID fingerprint sensor may be removed,– which in turn means that the devices’ bezels might be further shrinked. That is all.
