Facebook deleted 2.2 billion accounts!
Such a high number of deleted accounts comes from Facebook’s new, more stern rulebook. The company has cracked down on accounts that do not follow FB rules to the letter: banhammer can now strike anyone who shares content that promotes violence, hatespeech or fake news.The whole action took two months, over which Facebook removed 36 million accounts daily on average.
