Let us all hope that it will be as good as the original show was. HBO Max, a new VOD that will premiere on May 2020, has bought out the rights to the title from Netflix; the show will only be available there. HBO Max will offer 10000 hours of content, among which there will be productions made for TNT, CW and Cartoon Network, but its main attraction, at least on day 1, will be a 60-minutes long, fresh new special episode of Friends. Special will star all of our favourite characters: Joey, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Rachel, and each actor will receive 3 to 4 million dollars for their appearance. Marta Kauffman i David Crane will also return as producers of the show.
