First trailer of Doom: Annihilation is out, and it looks like a piece of crap
I am not movie critic but I recognize a flop when I see one, and Doom: Annihilation will flop hard. First trailer of the movie just came out; it shows us the main cast, some daemons and a biga… really huge BFG. Oh, and it also shows this being a low budget clip, and a really low budget one at that. I have a hard time considering this movie some sort of homage to the Doom series: it looks more like a cheap way of making some buck, considering the popularity of Doom 2016 and the positive reactions to Doom: Eternal trailers. The decision of putting a woman in the main role will probably ...
”Hypertrending”, a possibly creepy app function that shows you the most visited spots in town
Hypertrending is a new app function announced by the Foursquare, creators of the Foursquare City Guide search-and-discovery mobile app. The goal of this feature, currently limited to Austin, Texas, is to show its users how many people have recently been to any of the more well-known spots in town: pubs, cinemas, restaurants, clubs et cetera. Limited range of the app is Foursquare’s way of avoiding possible privacy concerns; they want to test it out first to see how, quote, ”creepy” do people find using it. If the results will be satisfactory, they will consider releasing ...

Your Phone app for Windows 10 will get an interesting new function
In October 2018, Microsoft brought a new piece of software to Windows 10 OS. It was called Your Phone and it allowed a few unimpressive functions to the PC, namely allowing the user to read texts and watch pictures from their phone on their stationary. Soon, Your Phone will get a third function, one that might make the whole application a bit more interesting: namely, it will allow us to reproduce the display of our smartphone on our computer. This in turn will allow us to not only see what is happening on our phone at the moment but also have a partial remote control over its apps, and ...
Oh man, Samsung Galaxy S10 can be unlocked with a picture of your face
YouTuber known as Unbox Therapy has recently released a video. In that video, he shows how easy it is to get around Galaxy S10’s smartphone face unlock. All you need to do is pick up another device with the Galaxy S10 owner’s face on it and put it before the face recognition screen; a picture of owner’s face is enough to unlock that device. Nice. Thankfully, Samsung notices that issue and promises a fix. In the meantime, it may be a good idea to use a password or fingerprint scanner instead of face ...
