Motorola patented new Razr project

As we already know, Motorola has announced that it is now working on a remake of the old Razr flip phone. All that we knew about it until now was that it will cost 1500 USD and will probably come out sometime this year. Today, though, thanks to the hard work of journalists from the 91Mobiles blog, we can take a look at sweet graphics from new Razr’s patent. Motorola has supposedly patented the device in December 2018. The graphics are quite informative, too. They show us that the device looks quite like its old predecessor, except maybe being a bit more square. When closed, a small display appears on its flip, just large enough for things like checking time or incoming messages; when opened, it reveals foldable display taking place of the old-fashioned keyboard.

Foldable display is not a common feature in smartphones, that much is true, but still, right now I have no idea what feature exacly excuses the phone’s supposed price of 1500 USD. What do you think?
