Sprint now supports VoLTE

It took Sprint four years, but the US telecomm company has finally caught up with its competition and begun to roll out VoLTE support. Rollout will take place over the next few weeks, during which Sprint will gradually make it available in 15 U.S. markets: Atlanta-Athens, Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas, Missouri, New York City, Oregon-West Washington, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco Bay, South Bay, Southern Jersey, and Washington, D.C. It will not be a separate download, but instead a part of Samsung Galaxy S8 series’ October security update. VoLTE will replace the old Calling Plus feature. In order to switch on the new VoLTE feature, you need to go to Settings > Connections > Voice networks and toggle it on. VoLTE update for smartphones other than Galaxy S8 and in other regions of the country is possible, but we do not have any information about it.
