HTC promised it and HTC delivered. Back in August, HTC promised to upgrade its U11 OS to 8.0 Oreo. Now, by the end of November, the company is fulfilling that promise in the United States.

An over-the-air upgrade should already be available in the land of freedom and apple pie. It weights over 1 gigabyte, so make sure to charge your phone up and connect it to a wi-fi. Sprint variant of the U11 will also receive the update, although a little later. HTC 10 and Ultra are also meant to have their OS’s upgraded to Oreo, though we do not know when will that happen.
