Latest Xperia devices have been receiving Android 7.1.1 updates ever since the end of June, and for a while, everything was good. Now, though, it looks like the update is plagued by a number of issues that may destabilize performance of any updated Xperia Z5 smartphone. According to the word online, these issues include drastic drop in apps response speed, device crashing, rebooting out of blue and even increasing its temperature to unusually high levels.

Sony has yet to release statement on the matter. One possible – though unofficial – solution to the problem is disabling the Movie Creator app, followed by booting the phone in Safe Mode and, after it turns back on, rebooting it once more, this time normally.
