As great as Galaxy S8 is, it does have a few problems. Many of them are disputable – yes, it has a screen burn but every AMOLED screen has that issue, the red screen problem may be just a settings issue etc. Still, even the staunchest defenders of the Samsung brand has to admit that, darn, Galaxy S8 is fragile. Last week, I told you about a special test in which Galaxy S8’s fragility was proven. Well, Samsung has taken notice of the issue and decided it is a good chance to make more money – according to a couple of leaks by one Roland Quandt‏, South Korean company is working on a more resilient variant of the Galaxy S8 called Active. Reportedly, the device has appeared in an user agent string, sporting model number SM-G892A.

Personally, I am sceptic. Why buy a completely new, probably expensive, phone when you can buy a case for the Galaxy S8 you already have? Okay, case will hide the device’s neat design, but I would not count on Active looking stunning anyway. What do you think?
