HTC U 11. So we finally know how it’s called!

Thank god, calling this phone by all of its four possible names was getting tiring. Evan Blass is the leakster who brought us this news, and lets all hope he is right, because I do not think the community can take yet another name for HTC’s upcoming flagship. Anyway, what else has Mr. Blass told us? HTC U 11 is supposed to be sold in five colour variants: black, white, silver, red and blue. Here is the phone’s specification, in case you weren’t sure whether or not to be excited about it:– Snapdragon 835 CPU,– 5.5′ QHD display,– 4GB RAM, 64GB memory ...

Yet another leaked Moto X (2017) pictures

Little is known about this device, even though a number of pictures depicting it has been released lately. Now, Slashleaks has revealed another bunch of Moto X (2017) photos, and they still do not tell us much about the phone. Design? Similiar to Moto G5 Plus. Audio jack? Yes, 3.5mm. Port? MicroUSB instead of the more usual USB Type-C. Rumours are that the new Moto X will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage memory, as well as a Snapdragon 625 CPU. That’s all. Tweet Vote on ...

Benchmark tests indicate that the US Galaxy S8 is worse than the global model

I have just read a pretty long, for its topic, article in which the writer complains about how the North American Galaxy S8 is worse than it’s global counterpart. Long story short, yes, it is slightly worse. GSM Arena performed a multitude of benchmark tests on both devices, and in almost all of them the global version of the phone was faster than its US counterpart. Why? Probably because of the difference in CPU’s. American Samsung Galaxy S8 is packing Snapdragon 835, while global edition of the phone comes with slightly faster Exynos 8895. That is ...

iPhone burns a man alive!!1!

Have I got your attention? Clarification – the guy was alive when his iPhone gave him a burn, and he is still alive. No one has died. Okay? Okay. Luke Schillab, USA, was unlucky enough to jump into the swimming pool with his iPhone 6 in pocket. The phone, of course, died. When Schillab realised what happened, he tried an old home remedy of putting the wet phone into the bag of rice, counting on the rice to absorb the water. When a few hours passed and the phone was still not responding, Schillab gave up. He put the phone on the bed (as later stated, he did it by a force of habit) and ...

Sorry, folks. According to the info on Clove’s, UK’s BlackBerry retailer, website, shipment of Keyone’s to the island of fog and rain will begin on May 22. It is a considerable delay, as BB was originally planning to release their phone on May 5. The reason for it is unknown. The good news is, you can still pre-order the phone at the Carphone Warehouse, and if you do, you will receive it on May 5 no problem. BlackBerry Keyone’s price remains at £499. Tweet Vote ...

An emergency Internet source, or Facebook works on a helicopter Internet adapter

Facebook works on many things. One of them seems to be a helicopter, that can quickly bring wireless Internet connection to where it is most needed. Tether-tenna, for that is the project’s name, is to be used when a crisis occurs and being connected to the web is a difference between life and death (like when my connection died down when I was tanking that dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV). According to its creators, helicopter is supposed to fly in, connect to the earthbound cable, as well as, if possible, a source of energy, and transmit wireless Internet connection. It is unknown ...
