Weird Microsoft patent, or an e-paper display

Microsoft does a lot of patents lately, does it not? Last week, Redmond company has patented a new kind of display hinge; today is the time for a double display device (Triple D?). One side of said display is to be a normal screen depicting what is going on in the device; the other side is to be be for keyboard and other control buttons. Patent describes the e-paper as touch sensitive and changeable. It could even be used as part of the device’s case.

Some people believe that the patent is to be used in the mysterious Surface Phone device, by Microsoft, that next to nothing is known about. Unfortunately, no proof for or against the idea is currently available.
