Android 7.1.2 hits Pixel and some Nexus phones

Android 7.1.2 OS has already been available for some time, though only Google smartphones. Now, the update is slowly trickling its way to other devices: Pixel, Pixel C, Pixel XL, as well as Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Nexus Player are now running the newest Nougat. Android was never quick about updating its phones’ operating systems, so I guess the owners of other Android devices will have to wait a while longer for their turn. Sorry.

One might wonder if the 7.1.2 update is particulary worth the wait, and the answer would probably be that no, it is not. 7.1.2 is a small update that only fixes a number of lesser issues (and, hopefully, does not create new ones), like improving the audio quality of the device or the Bluetooth connection. If you want a revolution, you will have to keep waiting for Android Oreo.
