HTC's concept phone will is controlled by squeezing

HTC U, previously known as HTC Ocean, is an uncoming flagship promoted as having an unusual control method. The usual buttons (as few as modern phones have) are supposed to be replaced with a touch-sensitive frame, and turning the volume up and down is being done by, quote, ”contextual squeezing and sliding of the handset’s sides”. Last year, HTC has released a small trailer for the device, which you can check out here. As for specification, we have heard that the device will be packing a Snapdragon 835 CPU, 5.5′ display, HTC Sense 9 UI, microSD slot (well, duh), either 64 or 128 GB of free space and, last but not least, 16mpx rear and 12mpx front cameras. The device may, but does not neccessarily have to, be released in April.
