HTC called Monday’s ruling by the U.S. International Trade Commission a “victory,” despite the fact that the ITC found HTC guilty of violating a smartphone patent held by Apple. Nokia today said that it plans to shut down the Nokia Contacts web site on January 24, 2012. Nokia Contacts allowed users fo Symbian smartphones to sync their contact data with Nokia’s servers for safe keeping.
