More Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) countries get Oreo update

Cool, I guess. After Russia received the update three weeks ago, it is now time for Galaxy A3 (2017) units in other countries to also get kicked up to Oreo. Firmware version A320FLXXU2CRD4 for the device is now available in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. This firmware is not rolled out Over-The-Air, so in order to download it you have to do it manually. The update includes Oreo as well as April security patch. Red & Gold variants of Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus out in May

To be precise, the variants in question are Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red. These two new colours will soon be joining the already out Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Lilac Purple and Coral Blue. Burgundy Red will be available, at least for now, only in China and Korea, while Sunrise Gold will come out in Australia, Chile, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Oreo update is out, again

First release of Android 8.0 Oreo for the Galaxy Note 8 smartphones took place over a month ago. It was pulled back, possibly due to a number of glitches. Now the update is back, and seemingly working (here is to hope…). New firmware number is N950USQU4CRD7. It comes with all the changes expected from the 8.0 Oreo as well as April security update. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 benchmarked

A benchmark of Galaxy Note 9 by Geekbench has just leaked out, giving us another sort-of proof of the phone’s existence. According to Geekbench, phone has a model number SM-N960U (SM-N950U was a model number of Galaxy Note 8). Only specs listed are Snapdragon 845 CPU, 6 gigabytes of RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo – the same specs that were shown us in phone’s earlier benchmark back in March.
