ZTE Licenses 3D Android User Interface Technology

ZTE today indicated that it has licensed the Embedded Inflexion UI product from Mentor Graphics. The Inflexion UI tools will allow ZTE to create 2D and 3D user interfaces for its future Android smartphones. According to Mentor Graphics, its product offers drag-and-drop functionality for creating user interfaces and will reduce the time it will take ZTE to develop new user interfaces and reduce the time it will take to get them to market. Google Wallet Nixed from Galaxy Nexus

Google confirmed to CNET that its Google Wallet mobile payment service will not be included on the Galaxy Nexus, which is due to launch on Verizon’s network later this month. “Verizon asked us not to include this functionality in the product,” a Google spokesperson told CNET. LG customers with devices running Android 2.1 and up can sign up for he storage directly from their handset.
