ZTE today indicated that it has licensed the Embedded Inflexion UI product from Mentor Graphics. The Inflexion UI tools will allow ZTE to create 2D and 3D user interfaces for its future Android smartphones. According to Mentor Graphics, its product offers drag-and-drop functionality for creating user interfaces and will reduce the time it will take ZTE to develop new user interfaces and reduce the time it will take to get them to market. Terms of the licensing deal were no disclosed.
