HTC Invests in SyncTV to Bring Video to Handsets

HTC today announced that it has struck a strategic investment partnership with Intertrust Technologies Corporation (ITC), which licenses distributed computing and digital rights management technology. As part of the investment, HTC has acquired 20% of ITC’s SyncTV product. HTC Shuttering HTCSense.com

HTC today began notifying customers via email that it intends to cease offering its user back-up service at HTCSense.com. The service will officially close April 30. HTC recommends that customers log in to their account and download their data before the service halts operations. Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrade available for LG Thrill 4G

Ice Cream Sandwich might by the Android OS that is on everyone’s mind right now, but owners of the LG Thrill 4G on AT&T will be happy to know that the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for their phones is now available. RIM to give developers BlackBerry 10 prototypes at upcoming event

RIM has announced that it plans to provide developers that attend an upcoming event with BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha devices. The devices are pre-production prototypes that run a modified version of the PlayBook OS. They are supposed to help developers prepare their apps for the upcoming BlackBerry 10 smartphones. AT&T confirms Nokia Lumia 900 to arrive April 8 for $99.99

AT&T has confirmed earlier rumors that the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone smartphone will arrive on April 8 for $99.99 when purchased with a new two-year contract. The Lumia 900 is the first 4G LTE Nokia smartphone, the first 4G LTE Windows Phone on the market, and it is also the first flagship Windows Phone Nokia to be carried by a U.S. carrier.
