Google faces a gigantic fine
There has been a leak of a document from an European Commission regarding its penal proceedings against Google. According to the Commission, Google abuses its leading position in a mobile device market, for which it may be forced to pay enormously large fines. The case is that, reportedly, Google has been repeatedly bribing mobile device producers in exchange for them applicating Google’s software in their devices instead of that of other companies. Neither the exact amount of fine, nor the Commission’s decision on whether or not Google is innocent, is unknown. The amount of ...
iPhone Down, part II: Weekend Assault
Do you remember times when your phone was your best friend? You could call other people with it, or message them; you could use it to surf the web – remember that funny cats movie you watched on bus a while ago? Ah, these were the times… unfortunately, these are the days gone past, and now we live in a brutal world of the future, where danger lurks at every corner. Well, where danger lurks wherever a phone lies, anyway . Last weekend, another case of an exploding iPhone 6s took place, and it was similiar to the last one – the owner kept the phone in their back pocket and, ...
HTC Ocean – no buttons
HTC Ocean is a working name for a phone that HTC is working on. The phone is to have two main selling points – a very thin frame and, attention, a complete lack of physical buttons. The former would allow Ocean model to be more compact without compromising the screen’s size; the latter… well, right now it is difficult to foreshadow the pros and cons of having no physical buttons on one’s mobile device. On the one hand, lack of physical buttons could make even more space for the phone’s screen, but on the other hand, what if (or, rather, when) the phone crashes? ...

Apple has just released iOS 10.0.2, a small update including multiple fixes for many lesser (and a few bigger) issues with iPods and iPhones running on iOS 10. Arguably the most important of those fixes are:– a fix for headphone audio controls randomly not working,– a bug with Photos app and iCloud Photo Library,– a fix for an issue with some app extensions. The update is now available for any iOs 10 or iOS 10.01 users. Suggested way of downloading it is using an OTA mechanism on the iPad or iPhone itself, which can be found at this direction: Settings > General > Software ...

All they will be releasing until next year (during which, Li Nan stated, Pro 7 model will be launched) will be Pro 6S. Reportedly, the Pro 6S model will only be a small improvement upon the Pro 6, the only difference being a Helio P20 CPU in place of the older Helio X25. Planned release date for Meizu Pro 6S is late ...

Yet another explosion; this time, iPhone 6 Plus blew up
College classrom, middle of a lecture. Suddenly, speaking professor is being abruptly interrupted by a loud “pop!”, followed by one of the students jumping from his chair and reaching for his back pocket. Young man takes out something black, warped and smoldering, throws it on the floor and kicks away. The classroom is slowly filling with a black, acrid smoke… If you think that’sa good beginning for an action movie then thank you, I am glad. It is not a fictional writing by me, though, but a description of what happened not long ago in the American college in ...
