Ryonghung iPad, tablet from… North Korea
Well, well, well… I am speechless. Well, mostly because I am too busy rolling on the floor, laughing.*five minutes and one aspirin pill later*Okay, I am good now. So… North Korea has once again shown its technologial superiority to the rest of the world. Ryonghung iPad is basically a badly made parody, excuse me, I mean ripoff of Apple’s mobile device. This beast (specification: 1GB RAM, 8GB storage with an USD slot, 4-core 1.2GHz CPU, Internet connection (!!)) will not be, naturally, available to the common citizen of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. No ...
Facebook account name will now be a required element of US visa application
For better or for worse, these are interesting times for those who want to live in the US. I will not argue for or against the new American government, but it is easy to see that there has been a number of changes in the US security policy lately: citizens of several Arabic countries are banned from traveling to the country; electronic devices are banned from aboard planes flying to the country; and now this – Facebook account name becoming a required part of an application for the US visa. Yep, you read me right. From now on, those who want to receive an USA visa will have to input ...
Few tips on how to prevent physical harm from your phone
I wanted to write a nice entry paragraph on how smartphones are a common commodity nowadays, that they are an important part of everyone’s life and how they need to be protected or one can face losing what is basically another body part, but I reckon that everyone already knows all that jazz. Instead, I will skip the introduction and just give you guys and girls a few tips on how to keep your iPhones, Huaweis, Samsungs and Nokias from getting physically damaged, so that you can call, text, browse and play on your mobiles to your heart’s content.1. Be sure to know where your ...
Samsung is preparing a new colour variant of the Galaxy S8
The above render of the rose gold Samsung Galaxy S8 was obtained by PriceRaja, an Indian ” only exclusive and best mobile research and price comparison website”. Pink rose was not one of the Galaxy S8’s original colour variants, but is probably going to be added due to (probably) how popular rose gold is with Apple users. The render shows a Galaxy S8+, but it is reasonable to believe that both + and regular S8 will be getting a new colour variation.Specification of the rose gold Samsungs will, naturally, be the same as other ...

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) coming to Germany. Will that be a full Europe release?
Galaxy J5 (2017) is an updated version of the 2015 entry-level smartphone. The device is said to be avaialble on Cyberport, a German online retailer store, on 22nd June. Samsung is silent on the topic, so we do not know whether or not this is the date when the phone will be released across whole of Europe. We also don’t have the slightest of ideas when will the other renewed J-series phones – J3 and J7 – make an appearance. I guess it’s time for the waiting ...
HMD confirms: Nokia 3, 5 and 6 will be getting Android O
We already know that all three Nokia phones will be coming out this month and globally, too. Now, HMD has revealed that all of them wil have their OS’ upgraded to Android O (Oreo?) as soon as the software is released. Pretty cool, right? Nokia is said to want to release three other phones than the 3, 5 and 6 this year. I wonder if these devices will also receive the Oreo upgrade. Tweet Vote on HN ...
