Huawei Nova 2i officially presented
Here is the phone’s trailer if you want to watch a bunch of people having fun that supposedly has something to do with a smartphone.Have you watched it? Okay, lets continue. Nova 2i is the newest mobile device in Huawei’s portfolio – kinda. It is basically Mate 10 Lite branded with a different name for Chinese market (the only reason I am writing about it is because there is nothing else to write about today). Therefore it comes with the same specs: 5.9′ FullView display with HD resolution, Kirin 659 CPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, 13mpx + 2mpx dual main camera, possibly ...
Facebook Messenger Lite available in the UK, US, Ireland and Canada
After its initial debut (more like life beta-tests) in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia and Venezuela, Messenger Lite becomes available in the West. What is Messenger Lite? Well, you know how Messenger is a massive piece of bloatware that clogs your smartphone’s memory like a cigarette clogs your lungs? Lite version of the app is all of the Messenger’s essentials with all the excessive fat cut off. No automated messages, no in-chat games, no photo attachments – just plain old texting.Sounds good? Hopefully it is. If you are interested, it should by now be downloadable from ...
Splitgate or oy wey, iPhone is do0med!!1!
Perhaps this scandal is not as groundbreaking as Watergate, but it is in top five, no question about it. One Mrs. Wu from Thailand has recently uploaded a tweet with the picture of her iPhone 8 Plus (64GB) in it. Picture depicts her phone with a nasty split so wide that the front panel nearly fell off from the device. This was reportedly caused by the phone’s battery expanding as a result of its temperature drastically increasing over a period of time – in other words, battery got so hot that it got large and push the phone apart.Device is said to have been send to Apple, which ...
Huawei Mate 10 Pro pics leaked, dual back cameras, almost-bezelless front panel
We have had no shortage of Huawei Mate 10 leaks, but since we love these little snippets of info coming our way, I had not the heart to withhold today’s from you. Plus this is what I am paid for to do, so here you go. The newest leak on Huawei Mate 10 Pro suggests that the phone will be equipped with dual back cameras as well as a fingerprint scanner and very thin front bezels (these are often portrayed as such before the premiere and the reality often proves them much larger). Leaked renders also include a Leica-branded flash and three different back panel colour variants.Cool, I ...
HTC U11 Plus might be coming out in Q4 2017
Roughly a week ago I wrote a post in which I shared all that was known about HTC U11 Plus at the time. Today a new report on the device surfaced. How do you think iPhone X is pronounced?
You will probably answer ”Ex, right?”. Ehh, dilettante… What do you think, that you can just walk around calling iPhones whatever you like? Pshaw. Business Insider conducted a small research to figure how out do people actually call Apple’s newest smartphone. It turned out that, while the majority of ”rank and file” citizens indeed do call that phone ”Ex”, everyone who knows more about the business calls it ”Ten”. This includes shop managers and repairers as well as ”common” people that follow Apple news more closely. ...
Moto X Play is getting upgraded to Android 7.1.1
The update itself is no surprise, since Motorola confirmed it a good few months ago, but no one knew when exacly will it be released. Well, now we know. The update is already out in Brazil, and will probably soon follow to other countries, if it has not already. Other than an OS upgrade, update also contains either August or September security patch. As always in the case of updates, keep your device charged and connected to a wi-fi. Tweet Vote on HN ...
