LG Aristo 2, new budget phone by LG
As it turns out, LG is coughing up a new budget phone. Aristo 2 is a sequel to the Aristo budget phone released in the beginning of 2017. First Aristo was a cheap and weak phone – in other words a decent budget device. When compared, Aristo 2 comes out a bit off because, well, both phones are pretty much the same. Okay, budget phone, I get it, but it has been twelve months. I am pretty sure more could have been changed than updating the OS and adding half a gigabyte of RAM.– 5′ HD screen,– Snapdragon 425 CPU,– 2GB RAM,– 2140mAh battery,– Android ...
Is LG killing off the G series?
LG has announced that its upcoming LG G7 phone will not be called that. Change of brand name is supposed to help the series gain more popularity. How exacly will this work is anyone’s guess – ask someone with a degree in marketing. As for a new name, no one knows what will it be. There are rumours stating that the LG will use numbers instead of letters in the series’ new name, naming it, for example, LG 69, but that is in no way confirmed.Re-name is said to take place during the first half of 2018. ...
HTC U12 render surfaces – what is new?
The render, coming from an unknown source, is in no way official, so take it with a grain of salt. It depicts the front side of U12 with very thin bezels. Since there is no room for fingerprint scanner on the front, it can be assumed it will be placed on the rear of the device. That is all. Other rumours, unrelated to this render, promise that U12 will come packing a 4K display and dual camera setup; some even say that there will be no fingerprint scanner at all. Tweet Vote on ...
And the first January 2018 security update goes to Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016)
It is a bit strange that Samsung delivered its newest update so far for a low-end tablet first, but perhaps there is method in this madness. I do not know. What I know is that Galaxy Tab A (2016) in Bangladesh has just received firmware version T285DDU0AQL3. Details of the update are unknown, as is the date of its release in other countries; it should take between one and two months. Tweet Vote on HN ...
Nokia 6 (2018) images leaked
Nokia 6 (2018) may be coming out tomorrow, but that does not mean we will not bite at the leaked picture thrown to us, no? According to the picture provided, the Nokia 6 (2018) will be pretty similiar to the original phone, albeit with thinner bezels and rear-placed fingerprint scanner. Teenager facing charges for sending a nude selfie
Long story short – and without too much judiciary lingo – is this: one Jane Doe (name, naturally, changed) from Minnesota, 14, has sent one or two of the boys she fancied nude picture of herself via Snapchat. One of the girl’s classmates reported this to the police (little snitch or good citizen? You make the call), after which Jane Doe was charged with ”dissemination of child pornography”, facing ten thousand dollars fine as well as being registered as a sex offender for ten years. Many sources consider this charge ridiculous and a dangerous and stupid ...

LG V30 gets new Raspberry Rose colour variant
Yaay, more shiny, brightly-coloured phones! I am growing fond of those pink/violet colours… LG will present the Raspberry Rose colour variant of its LG V30 smartphone at the CES 2018. Afterwards, it will become available for sale in Asia and, a few weeks afterwards, Europe. Price of this colour variant will probably be the same as other’s. Tweet Vote on HN ...
