The 15% drop in price is global, meaning that HomePod can be bought for (relatively) cheap in every country it is available from: in the UK, the device has dropped from 319 to 279 pounds. Apple counts on that this will burst HomePod’s sales up, making up for the more lukewarm reception than expected. Tweet Vote on HN ...

Tencent Keen Security Lab employees have put Tesla cars under a series of tests to, well, test their defenses against hacking attempts. Those defenses have been found lacking to say the least: as it turned out, a really Keen hacker (see what I did there?) could gain access to the autonomous vehicle with just a gaming pad, whether or not the car is currently working on an autopilot. This as well as other ways to hack Tesla have been presented on this video. As for Elon Musk, he thanked Keen for their work at finding security holes in his cars and promised, that they have been or are being ...

The products in question are iPhones XS, XR, 8 and 7, as well as some of the iPods, Mac computers and Airpods. iPhones’ prices have decreased from 300 to 500 juan – 45 to 75 dollars.
