Connected Cards come to the UK

Good news for everyone that have been waiting for Conncted Cards to hit the market.

Apple has announced that their connected cards feature after a couple weeks of testing are officially available in UK.

The service brings regular bank accounts into the Apple Wallet through the country’s Open Banking API.
The initial trial included Barclays, Lloyds, and HSBC, and it shows transactions, current balance and other basic info.

Connected Cards allows users to nominate one or more cards that are associated with specific accounts in British banks.

Connected Cards should be available in the US as well, however Apple is still waiting on US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that is still working on an equivalent to Open Banking API.
