Mediatek will soon release the new version of their chipset called Dimensity 9300.

Thanks to recent leaks we know that the chipset will be based on 1+3+4 architecture – 1×3.25 GHz Cortex-X4, 3×2.85 GHz Cortex-X4, 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A720.

We will find Immortalis-G720 GPU on baord as well.
It might seem odd when you look at the 1+5+2 setup by Snapdragon – 1×3.19 GHz Cortex-X4 & 5×2.96 GHz Cortex-A720 & 2×2.27 GHz Cortex-A520, however we need to wait a bit longer to check how good the new chipset will be.

The biggest problem is connected to the overheating issue.
If it was resolved, Mediatek might be on to something here.
